Dog toilet training, if you want to train your dog to urinate, you have to start training it from a young age and let it form a habit, so that when you grow up, you will not urinate anywhere, and parents can save a lot of trouble. However, it is not a simple thing to train a dog to defecate. It takes time to form a habit, so the owner must insist on training.
The dog’s nature is not to like to excrete in the place where it sleeps and eats. It must not be fed and set up in the excretion area. The places to sleep and eat are fixed and generally do not change. Observe and master the dog’s excretion time. Puppies usually excrete after eating, playing, and just waking up, so puppies should develop a good habit of eating regularly (3 meals a day). Observe the preparations of the dog before excretion. My dog smells the ground and then squats down when urinating; when he defecates, he turns around quickly and smells the ground. The puppy‘s excretory system is not perfect, the frequency will be more, pay attention to observation at any time, and grasp the opportunity of training.
Once the dog pulls, clean it up immediately, isolate the little bad guy to another room so that he can’t see the cleaning process, drag it a few times, and finally cover the odor completely with the scented liquid. Dogs don’t like to be convenient again where there is poop, so BB should be cleaned up in time. If you are peeing enough, you can be lazy. But don’t urinate into a river, it doesn’t want to go where it doesn’t have a foot. At the beginning, use small snacks as a reward, and the puppies are very greedy. The password to let the dog excretion should be simple, and don’t change it in the future. I usually say “in the newspaper” and “to the toilet” can also be said; “shush”, etc.; when complimenting, the tone should be exaggerated, elated and accompanied by petting. My dog happily runs to me every time he goes to the toilet and tells me that he has done something amazing. The dog’s nature is not to like to excrete in the place where it sleeps and eats. It must not be fed and set up in the excretion area. The places to sleep and eat are fixed and generally do not change.
The specific training process is as follows:
First, narrow down the dog’s range, and limit it to wherever you want it to be convenient. At first, I closed it to the toilet. Then spread newspapers all over the range of its activities, remember that if you want to put drinking water basins and kennels, you must put them in the corners, as far as possible from the excretion area, and do not put them on newspapers. Reward it for eating when it is found that it has urinated on the newspaper, and at the same time praise it vigorously, such as: “urinating on the newspaper, well done!” The best reward is immediately after the dog has urinated, and afterward, the reward should constantly point to the newspaper to let it Smell it (don’t press its head to smell it), compliment it more, and repeat simple compliments (don’t change the vocabulary in the future). After two days, reduce the scope of the newspaper shop, and pay attention to leaving a piece of urine when changing the newspaper. Ditto for vigorously rewarding as long as it is excreted in the newspaper.
When most of the dogs excrete on the newspaper, reduce the newspaper (then gradually reduce), and slowly expand the range of activities. I open the toilet door and close other doors that can be closed. Ditto for vigorously rewarding as long as it is excreted in the newspaper. If you have to pay attention elsewhere, this is the key to success or failure in the future. It is best to use the weekend when you have free time at home to train, because you have to catch the scene. Once you find that the dog is going to do something bad, immediately use the usual words to remind him loudly, such as “in the newspaper” or “to the toilet”, and at the same time point it to the toilet and lead it to the toilet. I don’t think the effect of taking it to the toilet is very good. Often it will be distracted or scared, and as a result, it will not urinate when it arrives in the toilet. Once you leave the puppy, it has become accustomed to taking it out on the newspaper, so you can take it outside. Putting newspaper outside where you want it to pee is a perpetual bonus. When the dog is about four months old, it can poop about three times a day regularly, and it is enough to take it out when it is time to take it out.
