What is a bombay cat?
The Bombay cat is a modern breed, bred in 1958 by American breeders by crossing the burmese cat (Black Shao cat) with the American black shorthair cat. Because of its resemblance to a cheetah, it is named after the Indian city of Mumbai. In 1976 the bombay cat was selected as the champion by the Cat Lovers Association. This kind of gentle, affectionate, smart and beautiful kitten is more and more popular among people.
What does a bombay cat look like?
The Bombay cat is bred from a cross between a Burmese cat and an American shorthair cat. It not only retains the color of the American shorthair cat, but also looks like a burmese cat.
