cairn terrier rearing
When the cian terrier comes back from playing outside, or is full to sleep, the owner can lead it to the door of the dog house. While pushing it in with your hand, give the command in your idiom, such as “go home” or “go home”. If the cian terrier puppy obeys the command and goes to sleep, it can be praised softly and rubbed on the neck. But don’t use food as a reward, because if there is something to eat, the puppy will not want to sleep! If the puppy doesn’t obey the command, you can aggravate the tone appropriately, and force the puppy into the dog house with your hands, and the owner will wait beside the dog house for a while, Until the cian terrier puppy falls asleep.
Usually, if the dog is found sleeping elsewhere, the owner can immediately issue an order to let the dog go back to the dog house. After training in this way for a period of time, the dog will form a conditioned reflex. As soon as he wants to sleep, he will consciously enter the dog house. Even if he does not sleep, as long as the owner gives the “go home” password, the Caian terrier will immediately get into the dog house and stay still. In addition, pay attention to keeping the dog house clean and disinfected so that the dog has a clean and comfortable home.
