What is laperm?
La Perm, the English name La Perm, is a descendant of randomly bred cats in the United States, with an oriental appearance – a wedge-shaped head and a lean body. They are active and curious outdoor cats. It has been recognized by CFA (the cat fanciers’ association) & TICA (the international cat association).
What does laperm look like?
The genetic mutation for curly hair has been around for centuries, but soon disappeared from the vast population of randomly bred cats. The emergence of a variety registration mechanism has changed this situation. Since the first major curly cat breeds, the Konigs and the Germans, were gradually established, there have been many curly breeds. The Labo is without a doubt the oddest-named of these cats; and, in a sense, the most peculiar-looking breed. They are born with soft fur, but usually disappear at a young age, becoming a “bald cat”, but the new coat that grows later will be very thick and silky texture, of course, or Rolled. Particularly rare for purebred cats, the Standard describes them as working cats and “excellent hunters.” There are both long-haired and short-haired versions of the Labo.

Labo cats are very affectionate towards their family members and can thrive in homes with or without children or other pets. Because Labo Retrievers are very active, they need a higher level of movement and play, and they especially enjoy the chase game. Despite their high activity levels, Labo Retrievers are happy to curl up on the couch after playing for a while. Aside from their high exercise needs, Labo frizz cats are relatively easy to keep. Labs are rarely vocal, they also have low shedding, and they are easy to care for, making Labo a good choice for first-time cat owners.

Although the laperm has a somewhat long, curly coat, grooming needs to be fairly low. As long as you brush her one to three times a week, she’s less likely to develop matting or tangles. However, if it has a long lapel coat, you can expect to groom it more often. Lapels don’t shed a lot of hair, and you can reduce shedding by brushing your teeth regularly. If she’s unlikely to grow a mat or a tangled mess, lightly comb it with a smooth brush or greyhound comb. If your Rabbit‘s curls need some lightening, you can spray water from a spray bottle on her coat and lightly massage the curls with your hands.
Dental hygiene is extremely important for any cat to help prevent the development of periodontal disease. Daily brushing is always ideal, but it would be great if you could brush your Labo’s teeth once a week. Be sure to check its ears regularly and gently remove dust with a soft cotton cloth. If your Labo’s ears are very dirty, inflamed, inflamed, or have a bad smell, get them checked out by your veterinarian right away. These can be signs of injury or infection.
