What is a toyger?
The Toy Tiger is a new breed of cat with tiger stripes that a retired architect in Los Angeles has bred in his backyard: the Toyger. Tiger head and brain, amber body, black stripes.
What does a toyger look like?
The toy tiger cat is strong, with a large, round head, a broad nose, small, slightly rounded ears, round eyes, and full cheeks. The chest is strong, the limbs are well-proportioned, the tail is thick at the base and the tip is thin, and the hair is short and soft, showing markings and round piebald.
There are three dark markings along the spine, with butterflies on the shoulders and continuous thin stripes on the flanks. The face has fine spots and a striped pattern on the bridge of the nose.
The limbs and tail also have circle patterns, all of which are distinct and beautiful. Tabby cats have beautiful faces and rich expressions. They like to get along with people and are good at catching mice and other small animals.
toyger living habits
toyger is a friendly outgoing cat who loves to be around people. They are highly intelligent and interactive cats who also get along well with other pets. Their intelligence means they are easy to train and can be taught to walk and play on a leash. Their laid-back personalities make them easy to live with and mean they fit easily into the home, making you feel truly tame in the wild.
toyger rearing
Try to only let the toyger eat 80% full, so it will be healthier for the toyger. Too much toyger can easily lead to obesity, so everyone must pay attention. It is also worth noting that 3 to 5 months old toy tiger cats are in the growth period. For kittens whose bodies are growing rapidly, more calories are necessary. A toyger 3-4 months after birth needs 130-250 calories per kilogram of body weight, 100 calories after six months, and 80 calories for an adult cat. In terms of nutrients, basically toy tiger cats are carnivores, so they need more animal protein.
