What is hamiltonstovare?
The Hamilton Stoffer is native to Sweden and originated in the 19th century. Also known as the Hamilton Hound, it is a breed bred by Hamilton, the founder of the Swedish Kennel Club.

Well-proportioned, strong and powerful, with good stamina. The head is slightly long, rectangular, with a slightly arched skull and moderate width. The posterior occipital bone is not too prominent. The muzzle is moderate in length. The bridge of the nose is straight, the nose is black, well developed, and the nostrils are well opened. The upper lip is plump but not too droopy. The eyes are dark brown, clear and bright, with a serene expression. The ears are moderately high at the base of the ears, soft and drooping, slightly lifted when hearing a sound. The mouth is strong and powerful, with a perfectly regular scissors bite. The neck is long and robust with compact neck skin. The shoulders are muscular. The chest is deep, the back is straight and strong, and the abdomen is slightly raised. The front legs are straight and parallel to each other when viewed from the front. The hind legs and buttocks are well developed and broad. The feet are short and firm, with firm pads and hair between the toes. False toes are permitted on the front legs. The tail is high at the base, almost the extension of the topline, relatively straight down or slightly curved in the shape of a saber. The coat is double-layered, and the inner coat is short, soft and tight, especially thick in winter. The outer fur fits snugly against the body and resists wind and rain. The underside of the tail has longer hair but no frilling. The coat color is a combination of three colors, generally the upper side of the neck, the back, the sides of the body, and the upper side of the tail are black; the head and limbs are brown; the upper side of the snout, the lower side of the neck, the chest and tail, and the feet White.
