The vet expressed that it’s profoundly disheartening to witness a dog’s last moments filled with confusion and searching for its owner.
The post read: “I will always try to give grace and save my judgments on how people are able to deal with grief because everyone is different, but MAN… it is f**king depressing to have a dog spending its final moments looking for where their owner went.”
The vet continued, noting that being there by the pet’s side is one of the last comforts they can offer, providing solace during their transition.
