Janella Salvador expressed her grief over the passing of her 18-year-old pet cat, sharing her sentiments on Instagram. In her post on September 5, the actress lamented the fact that pets should live longer lives. She thanked her beloved cat for spending its precious years with her family.
Janella affectionately referred to her cat as “Little Jea” and explained that she was thrilled when she got her dream white fluffy Persian cat, which led to the name “Fluffy.” She shared a collection of photos dating back to 2007, including some with her late cat Twinkie, and a picture of Fluffy’s funeral with birthdate and passing details.
In her heartfelt tribute, Janella described Fluffy as a cat who loved attention, always seeking companionship, and welcoming visitors with open arms. She noted how Fluffy was like the yin to Twinkie’s yang and expressed hope for a joyful reunion in pet paradise.
The post received an outpouring of love and condolences from both celebrities and fans in the comment section. Actresses Maymay Entrata and Sue Ramirez were among those who sent their messages of support.
This isn’t the first time Janella has experienced the loss of a beloved pet. In January, she bid farewell to Twinkie, her companion of 17 years, and in July 2022, she lost her dog, Max. She shared her deep emotional connection with her pets, describing them as partners in life who offered unconditional love.
