“Exciting Weekend of Pet Fun and Learning at Tri-State Pet Expo in Center Twp.”
A weekend filled with excitement and educational opportunities for pets and their owners is set to happen on September 23-24 at the inaugural Tri-State Pet Expo, taking place at Beaver Valley Mall.
The event will feature vendors showcasing their pet-related services, along with informative seminars covering topics like basic first aid care, pet nutrition, and training. Live demonstrations by the Beaver County Sheriff’s Office and local police departments will be a highlight, featuring training, grooming, and agility showcases.
Pets are enthusiastically encouraged to join in the fun, with a special invitation to participate in a free costume contest and engage in a lure chasing course that mimics the pursuit of live prey. The lure course participation is priced at $5 per dog.
The Tri-State Pet Expo will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on September 23 and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on September 24.
Attendance is free of charge.

“This expo serves as a no-cost conference for pet parents, elevating pet care to the next level,” stated Jamie Leheny, a member of the Beaver Area Jaycees and owner of Wags on 3rd pet supplies in Beaver, both of which are supporting sponsors of the event.
Wags on 3rd, a pet supply store in Beaver, is proudly partnering with the inaugural Tri-State Pet Expo at Beaver Valley Mall.
“All seminars will be free and held classroom-style in various retail locations throughout the mall,” Leheny explained. “For instance, you can attend a session on basic pet nutrition at 1 p.m., followed by an agility demonstration at 2 p.m., and then a police demonstration at 3 p.m., and we will have these sessions running all day on both days.”
“On Sunday, the pet costume contest will take place at 1 p.m., with a cash prize for the winner, and there will also be a live grooming demonstration for attendees to watch dogs being groomed,” she added.
