Over the weekend, the Marshall Pet Adoption Center (MPAC) embraced the Halloween spirit by offering a full day of festive events at their shelter. The MPAC, in collaboration with the dedicated volunteers of Friends of Marshall Animals, rolled out an array of activities to celebrate the occasion.
Early in the day, MPAC welcomed visitors and their furry friends for a delightful round of “Trick or Treating for Dogs.” This special event featured a playful photoshoot for pets and their owners, accompanied by a generous distribution of brand-new treats and toys to ensure a howling good time for all attendees.
As the day unfolded, the center expanded its Halloween festivities with a “Pet-Friendly Trunk or Treat” event outside the shelter. Families, both two-legged and four-legged members, gathered to enjoy the spooktacular treats and goodies on offer.

This spine-tingling attraction was hosted right inside the shelter premises and served as a fundraiser for the organization. For a mere $10, visitors could venture into the eerie depths of the haunted house, which offered a thrilling Halloween experience. Notably, this marked the inaugural year for MPAC’s Halloween-themed fundraiser, adding an extra layer of excitement to the occasion.
