Tara Sobek, a Windermere resident, has ventured into the world of pet care with the launch of her mobile pet care business, Woofie’s West Orlando. This new enterprise offers an array of services to pet owners in the entire West Orlando region, including Killarney, Kissimmee, Oakland, Ocoee, Orlando, Windermere, and Winter Garden.
Woofie’s West Orlando prides itself on providing convenient and dependable mobile grooming spas for pets. Services include bathing, ear cleaning, nail trimming, and tooth brushing. Moreover, the business extends its offerings to include dog walking, day and overnight pet sitting, and professional assistance in keeping a wide range of pets (including dogs, cats, reptiles, guinea pigs, and birds) healthy, happy, and safe.
To celebrate its grand opening, Woofie’s West Orlando will host a special event on Wednesday, November 15, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. The event will take place at Home State Brewing Co., located at 16016 New Independence Parkway in Winter Garden. Attendees can look forward to a raffle with a chance to win a grooming session valued at $100 and a pet gift basket. Additionally, discounted nail trims for dogs will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
The event will also feature a collaborative effort with several local pet-related organizations. Southern Cross Service Dogs, a nonprofit organization that provides service dogs to disabled veterans, will be present. Release Canine Rehabilitation Therapy and Wellness, offering physical rehabilitation services for dogs after injury or surgery, will also participate. Hot Dog Photography will be capturing the event, offering digital downloads of photos for $25. Pet Wants will provide dog food.
A noteworthy aspect of this event is that a portion of the proceeds generated from Woofie’s services during the grand opening will be donated to Southern Cross Service Dogs. For the safety and comfort of all attendees, dogs must be leashed while participating in the event.
Tara Sobek, the owner of Woofie’s West Orlando, is deeply committed to the local community and its pets. She emphasizes, “As local owners, we provide personalized service with a hometown feel and have the advantage of being part of the Woofie’s national franchise brand. We provide safe, caring services to dog, cat, and other pet owners who want someone to care for their beloved pets as much as they do. We look forward to officially introducing Woofie’s West Orlando to the greater community at our grand opening event.”
This franchise is locally owned and operated by Tara Sobek, with invaluable support from her husband, Jeremy, and their daughter, Ella, who also works at another Woofie franchise near her college.
