As the saying goes, “Every dog has his day.”
And on Saturday, that was true for all the dogs, cats, rabbits and guinea pigs at the pet adoption event at Phil Meador Subaru in Pocatello.
The dealership was the site of Pet Adoption Day, which featured several animals from Pocatello Animal Services, with all adoption fees paid by the dealership.
Each adoption also came with a new owner’s kit that included toys and treats for the pet.
Brian of Phil Meador Subaru says it’s important to them to be a community partner.
“That’s always been our motto,” said Brian Johnston of Phil Meador Subaru, “you know, that’s the Meador family. That’s what we do, is try to give back to the community and turn our dealership into an adoption fair and sell cars at the same time. So everybody has a good time doing it.”
At least six animals found their fur-ever homes on Saturday.
