Picart Petcare recently celebrated its 70th anniversary with the opening of a cutting-edge factory in Llinars del Vallès, Can Prat, a move that will significantly enhance the company’s production capabilities. The new facility is precision engineered to triple Picart’s production capacity and incorporate the latest technological advancements and state-of-the-art machinery. The company emphasizes that this strategic expansion aims to improve the quality and safety standards of its products while ensuring complete traceability throughout the production process.
The significant investment in this facility underlines Picart’s strong commitment to fostering innovation and sustainable growth. The company is proud of its role as a technology pioneer, emphasizing that every product that leaves its production lines adheres to the highest industry standards.
“This technological breakthrough is a game-changer for Picart,” the company said. “It not only strengthens our position in the market, but also paves the way for a promising future, positioning us as an industry leader.”
At a memorial ceremony in November, Picart CEO Joan Icart spoke about the company’s past, present and future. The event was attended by prominent figures such as Martí Pujol, Mayor of Llinars del Vallès, and Oriol Alcoba, Director of the Indústria del Departament d’Empresa i Treball. A symbolic ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by Mayor Icart and the General Manager marked the beginning of an exciting new chapter for Picart Petcare S.A.
Attendees have the opportunity to explore the modern facility through guided tours and gain insight into the meticulous kibble production process – from raw material selection to bagging and pallet construction.
