Ravenswood Pet Rescue, based in Fenland, is urgently appealing for assistance to provide care for animals recently saved in a significant rescue operation. Among the rescued animals are young puppies, emphasizing the critical need for support.
In a collaborative effort involving the police, Fenland District Council, and various partners, three cats and 19 dogs were successfully rescued. Notably, two of the dogs have given birth to a total of 12 puppies, while one of the cats is expected to deliver kittens imminently.
Ravenswood Pet Rescue, which operates with a small yet dedicated team of foster carers, has taken in the rescued animals into their homes. However, the not-for-profit organization is facing a dire need for public support to sustain the ongoing care of these animals.
The plea for assistance comes amidst the organization’s commitment to providing essential care and shelter to the rescued animals, highlighting the crucial role of community involvement in safeguarding the welfare of vulnerable animals in need.
