Coal Yard Coffee and Indianapolis Animal Care Services are joining forces this weekend to facilitate a heartwarming pet adoption event.
Dubbed the “Paws and Pour Adoption Event,” the initiative is set to welcome the public from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday. The event will take place at Coal Yard Coffee’s 400 S. Ritter Ave. location, where approximately 50 dogs will be eagerly awaiting prospective adopters.
In a press release, it was revealed that adoption fees will be waived throughout the event, with dedicated IACS staff present to assist in processing applications, address inquiries, and highlight volunteer opportunities.
Adding to the festive atmosphere, live music will grace both days of the event, enhancing the experience for attendees. Moreover, Coal Yard Coffee is gearing up to serve themed beverages and distribute coupons alongside “pup cups” for patrons and their furry friends to relish.
In a demonstration of their ongoing commitment, Coal Yard Coffee maintains a donation “kennel” accessible to customers wishing to contribute items to IACS. These donations are then promptly delivered by the business directly to IACS, fostering a continuous cycle of support for the cause.
