Notti Pet Food, renowned for its slow-baked super premium kibble, has announced a seed investment of $500,000 (RM2.4 million) from 500 Global and First Move. Launched in July 2023, the company aims to enhance pet health and nutrition across Southeast Asia and will use the funding to introduce new product lines and expand into the Philippines and Singapore markets.
“This milestone is not just a win for Notti Pet Food but a leap forward for the entire pet industry,” stated Ke Yee Yap, founder of Notti Pet Food, in a LinkedIn announcement. “Our commitment to enhancing pet care continues to be our driving force, and this investment will propel us to innovate and expand even further.”
According to the Standard Insights’ Consumer Report Malaysia 2023, over 51.1% of Malaysians currently own pets, a figure expected to grow. With rising pet ownership, the demand for high-quality pet food is also increasing. Notti Pet Food addresses this need by offering an alternative to traditional pet food, featuring products made with 100% human-grade meat, fruits, vegetables, probiotics, and prebiotics.
Currently, Notti Pet Food products are available in over 100 pet shops across Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, and the Philippines. The company aims to double its distribution network to 200 by the end of 2024.
Notti Pet Food’s offerings have received veterinary endorsements and surpass the international Association of American Feed Control Officials (AAFCO) Nutrient Standards. Their products are designed to cater to pets of all ages, breeds, and sizes.
