Champion Petfoods’ ACANA brand is launching its Classics recipes in the United States, featuring familiar, nutrient-rich ingredients that pet owners trust. These new recipes are packed with protein-rich animal ingredients, healthy grains, vegetables, and fruits, promoting overall dog health, including immune support, healthy skin and coat, and good digestion. Available in 4- or 22.5-pound bags, the Classics line includes three flavors:
Chicken and Barley: Main ingredients are chicken and chicken meal, complemented by pearled barley, peas, oats, lentils, and fish oil.
Salmon and Barley: Features salmon as the key ingredient, along with herring meal, pearled barley, peas, oats, lentils, and other animal and plant sources.
Beef and Barley: Contains beef and beef meal as primary ingredients, with pearled barley, peas, oats, pork meal, lentils, and fish oil.
To celebrate the launch, ACANA is hosting “Lights, Camera, Classics,” a series of movie nights in parks across Seattle, San Diego, and Denver throughout the summer. This dog-friendly event encourages pet owners to bring their dogs to enjoy classic films under the stars.
“We are thrilled to showcase our new ACANA Classics recipes during such a cherished summertime event – movies in the park – in three vibrant U.S. cities,” said Ernie Ambrose, Vice President of Marketing for ACANA. “Much like classic films that blend stellar casting, direction, and vision, our recipes are meticulously crafted with high-quality ingredients that pet owners recognize and appreciate, without any fillers.”
Additionally, the “Lights, Camera, Classics” campaign includes a sweepstakes inviting consumers to share their favorite movie to watch with their dog. The grand prize winner will receive $5,000.
