LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued a warning to pet owners following a recall of a brand of dog treats.
TDBBS, a Virginia-based pet store company, has recalled more than 3,500 bags of its Green Tripe dog treats due to potential contamination with metal objects.
The affected treats were marketed under the brands Barkworthies and Best Bully Sticks.
According to the FDA, these treats were distributed to stores nationwide and were also available for purchase online from February to May 2024.
Thus far, there have been no reports of injuries or illnesses related to this issue.
