Hill’s Pet Nutrition has appointed Yvonne Hsu as the new president and general manager of its U.S. division, effective May. Hsu succeeds Nicki Baty, who departed the company to pursue other career opportunities after leading the division since September 2020.
Bringing over 25 years of experience within Hill’s parent company, Colgate-Palmolive, Hsu assumes her new role with a proven track record in driving substantial growth across multiple brands, noted the company. Most recently serving as executive vice president of global innovation and growth at Hill’s, Hsu initially joined the organization in 2018 as marketing director.
During her tenure, Hsu has been instrumental in establishing digital and analytics capabilities that have propelled growth within Hill’s and positively impacted Colgate-Palmolive as a whole. The company highlighted her strategic leadership in shaping the 2025 strategic plan and implementing initiatives to meet business commitments. These efforts include the introduction of a new Brand Promise Framework, development of robust three-year innovation grids, expansion of the digital ecosystem, and enhancement of Hill’s data foundation.
Hsu holds a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University and an MBA from Cornell University’s SC Johnson Graduate School of Management.
According to the Petfood Industry’s Top Pet Food Companies listing, Hill’s Pet Nutrition markets over 300 products primarily through authorized pet supply retailers and veterinarians across more than 80 countries worldwide. The company operates major manufacturing and warehousing facilities in Bowling Green, Kentucky; Topeka, Kansas; Emporia, Kansas; and Richmond, Indiana, in the United States. Hill’s also maintains significant manufacturing and warehousing operations in the Czech Republic and the Netherlands, with its primary research center located in Topeka.
