In collaboration with Wedgewood’s Blue Rabbit platform, Heart + Paw launched an innovative online pharmacy. This platform serves as a centralized hub for pet health needs, offering prescriptions, preventatives, and specialized diets. The initiative aims to simplify the prescription process for pet owners and healthcare providers alike, minimizing the hassle associated with third-party pharmacies. Complementing the pharmacy launch, Heart + Paw unveiled a teletriage service in partnership with Pet Vet Connection. Available at select locations and expanding to 24/7 availability at 14 centers, this service enables pet owners to seek timely consultation from licensed veterinarians. Dr. George Melillo, Chief Veterinary Officer at Heart + Paw, highlighted the service’s role in providing safe, informed decisions regarding pet health emergencies, aiming to reduce unnecessary visits to emergency facilities and ensuring continuity of care in a familiar environment.
