SCHENECTADY, N.Y. — Wolf Hollow Brewery Company hosted the Woofs at the Wolf benefit on Sunday, aimed at supporting the Glenville Animal Protective Foundation and raising awareness for rescue animals.
Stephanie Carducci, the event organizer, expressed her commitment to the cause, highlighting the success of the fundraiser. “We’re just trying to bring the community together and find some love for these animals that need it,” Carducci said.
The event featured food trucks, live music, and a raffle, alongside vendors offering dog supplies. “My wife is a vendor here today and saw Lana [the dog] across the way and fell in love, played with her all day, and called me to come and pick her up so that we can take her home and adopt her,” attendee Michael Zinnershine shared, emphasizing the personal impact of the event.
In total, the event raised approximately $300 for the Animal Protective Foundation and nearly $700 for a local dog rescue. Carducci expressed plans to continue the event annually to further support animals in need.
