Big, the family pet, got angry and came home sick!
Back from the recent pet hospital, I was in a daze with a bag of pills in my hand.
How am I supposed to get Bigg to take his medicine?
Here’s a look with Xiaobian!
If your Beagle is a very obedient puppy, order him to sit down before giving him a pill or other solid medication.
Open the puppy’s mouth and place the pill deep in his mouth as quickly as possible, then gently close his jaw, lift his head up and stroke his neck to help the puppy swallow the pill.
This process may take a few seconds.
But the best way is to hide the pill (or pound the pill into a powder) in your dog‘s favorite food and feed it.
If you are giving your puppy medicine, get a syringe from your veterinarian’s office or buy a syringe from a drug store and use it to give your puppy the medicine.
When injecting the potion, you should inject it into the puppy’s mouth, not into his throat, because it will easily get the potion into the trachea.
Then, put your hand on the puppy’s jaw until it swallows the potion.
